Catching up with what is going on in the rest of the world

http://www.frcaction.org/healthcaretownhall That is the link I went to to listen to a web cast about the health care plan. It was about an hour and ten minutes long but I got to see and hear a number of conservative pro life congress members and others fighting to keep abortion funding out of the health care plan. There is also a lot of concern about the tremendous amount of money this health plan would cost. These are some of the people I got to see and hear.
* Host: Tony Perkins, President, FRC Action
* Congressman Mike Pence (R-Ind.)
* Congressman Tom Price, M.D. (R-Ga.)
* Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.)
* Senator David Vitter (R-La.)
* Delegate Bob Marshall (R-Va. 13)
* Bryan Fischer, American Family Association
* Kristan Hawkins, Executive Director, Students for Life
* Marjorie Dannenfelser, President and Chairman of the Board, Susan B. Anthony List
* Douglas Johnson, Legislative Director, National Right to Life
* Tom McClusky, Senior Vice President, FRC Action
The last web cast we were not able to see the participants, but this time we can see them as well as hear them. I am reading the news about the health care plan every day hoping that this version will not pass. There is too much in it that I don't want to see written into law where it will be darned hard to get out!

I talked to my son Raymond about an hour in Austin. He talked a lot about the great AA program in Austin he is taking advantage of so he will be well fortified when he comes home until he can either start a program wherever he is or go to another city in Utah like St. George that may have them programs that work so well for alcoholics. He said this time more than any other time he is committing himself to the complete spiritual experience that he says veterans of the program say you must do to stop binging.
I talked to my son Dan some time, too, and found out he is busy writing a fantasy novel. I just knew it! He said he and his son Dante are making a big map that is the fantasy land in his novel and Dante, my fifteen year old grandson, is helping him to name the places and the people. Next thing you know Dante will be writing his own fantasy novel. He might be already. Every time he came over to my house when he was younger, he would have to get on the computer and write a story. I always thought they were hilarious. Except his story about the dog biting him when he was nine. That one was hilarious as well as extremely affecting. Dan has been working hard, he is thankful to have a job when unemployment is high in Arizona.
My son Gary went on Facebook, so I had fun uploading some photos of him to send to his wall. I enjoy my relatives and blogger friends on Facebook and some on the family site.
I had a psychic pickup last night about my sister's Ann's truck when she and her husband made a trip to the dentist. I dreamed that something broke, started zinging and then quit. I didn't see how it could be anything belonging to me, so was waiting to find out what it was. Today she came back and said their fuel pump went bad but fortunately her son in law and husband were able to replace it this morning and after their appointments they returned home. Psychic pickups about vehicles have always been fairly easy for me, but I have to be close to that person to get a line on what is going on in their lives that will cause a big enough reaction so that apparatus in my brain will pick it up and show a picture that might be close to what it is. The mind is mysterious. Many say these pickups aren't real, but that may be because they don't have them. I had absolutely no communication from her about what was happening until she got home. My sisters are able to get these psychic pickups, too. I think they are the most common kind of psychic messages to the mind.
I went blog reading today. I wrote too many chapters on my memoirs too fast, couldn't sleep, and felt very logy today. I know I have to pace myself, but seem to have to overdo before I can slow down. I have learned my lesson I hope and will try to get my proper rest when I go back to writing.
I got a hit from Finland, Poland, and New Zealand. It has been fun seeing my neo counter pick up people from all over the world, including towns in the US I have never heard of. The neo counter does not pick up some of my relatives visits, so it is missing some.
I hope these people will come back and read more of my Memoir. I know I am going to miss going to Utah this summer, but it is better to wait until I feel that I can go without the risk of being too upset by reactions to my memoirs. I have lived all over the state of Utah. Went to high school in two different parts of the state. Lived in Salt Lake seven years. But I kept many things secret because I thought people's reactions would be too strong. I don't dare wait any longer to write my memoirs. I am getting up there. The time has come.
I do not meet many people now days here in Arizona except new residents that move in this big complex. There are almost three hundred units here. I started to volunteer in the video library a couple of hours last Monday morning and interacted with quite a few people come in to rent videos. I will take my camera one day and take photos of this newly renovated room which now is nice as can be. It is the central meeting place for the officers of the Tenants Organization and residents wanting to talk to some of them.
The weather is starting to break after one of the rainiest winters we have had in a long time. I was glad to hear the reservoirs are full! But it will soon be warm enough to go sit in the patio under the trees in the afternoon. Oh joy! It's actually been too rainy a lot of days to go out and about. So unusual for Phoenix.

I'm not surrised you cannot sleep sometimes after you have written everything down Gerry. Your mind is so active! There must be all sorts of information just squeezing each other to get out. lol
You are so prolific in output. Both for your memoirs and your pro-life beliefs.
I am not as tuned in to the health proposals of Obama. Sorry about that. It does seem that an awful lot of people are dead against it from the little bits I get to read on it in folks journals.
I hope all turns out well for you.
