Federal Government and Obama to sue Arizona over SB1070

They say the law is against Federal guidelines in several places even though it was designed to enforce federal law against illegal immigration that has gone unforced for years. Arizonans sort of expected an adverse reaction so we are fairly prepared, but I hope this lawsuit does not try to extract money from us we do not have! Few columnists are of the opinion that congress is going to act on illegal immigration any time soon. So if they wait too long this might have an effect on the fall elections. Democrats in the state possibly worried about their chances of getting re-elected begged the Feds not to sue. Now what?
I talked to a woman in the doctor's office who was walking at such a slow pace I asked her what happened to her. She said that six months previously a car had come around the corner and plowed into people crossing. I said how come? She said the driver wasn't paying attention, and I extracted from her the information that this was an illegal driving with no license and no insurance. Her pelvis was broken in several places. She said that was the first time she had ever been hurt in a car accident and she had bill collectors threatening to sue her for medical costs, etc. I want to point out that when illegals come here they are probably going to only be able to get low paying jobs and so very often they do not have the money for insurance. If you are already breaking the law by entering the country illegally breaking more laws might not seem like such a big thing. People get cars whether they can afford the insurance or not.
So here in our state where law enforcement works so hard to insure that people do not drive uninsured or unlicensed, lawbreakers with illegal status are constantly bringing the numbers down. What does congress and the president say about that?
We are also reading that a dedicated officer of the law, Sheriff Babieu in Pinal County close to the border has been targeted by the drug cartels for assassination! I surely hope this threat is not carried out. Of course, I am sure that Sheriff Arpaio has been receiving death treats for years.
That is all I am going to say about illegal immigration today. Isn't that enough?

Too bad no one can sue the Federal Government, but they can sue a state. I think they should see what they are not doing...upholding the law they made themselves! Hang in there ARIZONA.

I hope that every American, regardless of where he lives, will stop and examine his conscience about this and other related incidents. This Nation was founded by men of many nations and backgrounds. It was founded on the principle that all men are created equal, and that the rights of every man are diminished when the rights of one man are threatened. All of us ought to have the right to be treated as he would wish to be treated, as one would wish his children to be treated, but this is not the case.

I know the proponents of this law say that the majority approves of this law, but the majority is not always right. Would women or non-whites have the vote if we listen to the majority of the day, would the non-whites have equal rights (and equal access to churches, housing, restaurants, hotels, retail stores, schools, colleges and yes water fountains) if we listen to the majority of the day? We all know the answer, a resounding, NO!

Today we are committed to a worldwide struggle to promote and protect the rights of all who wish to be free. In a time of domestic crisis men of good will and generosity should be able to unite regardless of party or politics and do what is right, not what is just popular with the majority. Some men comprehend discrimination by never have experiencing it in their lives, but the majority will only understand after it happens to them.

Benito, for years the US and especially the border states like Arizona have harbored illegals with the idea life is so bad in Mexico they must keep flowing north, not only from there but from other countries, but I think it is time that Mexico had to deal with their own people instead of counting on the US to receive them, because our border states have also reaching a breaking point dealing with the problems of so many illegals, who are breaking the law when they cross and continue to have to break it by all too often not being able to buy insurance when they buy cars, and also feeling they need to be armed to protect themselves which leads to endless gun violence in the neighborhoods that harbor them. They also get involved in illegal drug trafficking. Illegals too often end up breaking the law in more ways than one!

PEOPLE-
THEY ARE CALLED ILLEGAL ALIENS-NOT IMMIGRANTS...
THEY ARE NOT HERE LEGALLY..CAN YOU GO INTO OTHER COUNTRIES WITHOUT A PASSPORT(LEGAL PAPERS)...
ARE YOU ALLOWED TO DRIVE A CAR WITHOUT A DRIVERS LICENSE & INSURANCE.....
DO YOU GO INTO OTHERS COUNTRIES WHERE YOU CANNOT SPEAK THEIR LANGUAGE AND DEMAND THEY LEARN YOURS INSTEAD OF VISE-VERSA....
ARIZONA IS TRYING TO UPHOLD LAWS THAT ARE ALREADY THERE...JUST LIKE NEW JERSEY AND THE TWO HIGHEST COURTS IN OUR LAND UPHELD THEM.........OUR GOVERNMENT IS TRYING TO TEAR DOWN OUR COUNTRY PIECE BY PIECE...WHERE ARE THE OUTCRIES...WE MUST STAND FOR SOMETHING OR WE'LL FALL FOR ANYTHING........
