My reaction on reading the words 'renal mass' on the CT scan order my doctor gave me
Doc and I make videos on every subject on earth, so naturally I made a video on getting this news. Doc insisted on poking fun as usual, but he never takes tests or even goes to the doctor. He has his presecriptions faxed. He always says he will buy a gun and shoot himself if he gets any bad news so this way he will be dying and won't even know it. People have done that in here. I will not go out and buy a gun. I think women take such possibilities better than men. But women want to live for the grand kids and great grandkids. Or I think so, anyway. What do you think?

Try not to borrow any more trouble than you can until you find out...
and just go ahead and take care of it the best you can, that's what I say. One day at a time. It's always good to find out just what is going on. Have you had any symptoms of possible trouble? Are you waiting for the cat scan appt?
Keep us informed.
i know you're worried, only natural. but it could be a benign mass. so, try not to worry too much. doc, seems to be trying to help you, in his own way.
sending up a prayer for you.
God bless...
Hope the mass turns out to be nothing of importance. Have to compliment you on matching up your outfit so well.
I am sorry to hear this Gerry. I think Doc is trying to cheer you up. You look pretty in that outfit. Sending up prayers for you. Hugs, Helen
I won't say anything in reaction to Doc's proposed actions in cases like this. As far as you are concerned, Gerry, await final results of the investigations as to what exactly the mass is all about. One day at a time, don't think (too much) about what might be - and may not come to pass at all.
I have always taken news like this for what it is, even when I was completely paralyzed... I was never told the book was certainly shut on me and I like to think that because I never assumed it was, my attitude helped me pass through the dilemma(s) in the best manner possible. That was over 15 years ago and all I still have is a limp... It would have been nice if Jack had given you a little clue though...
Hi Gerry,
I know this news has you worried...NOONe wants to hear these words...the words themselves are so frightening...I am hoping and praying that the mass be no more than a polyp or such...May our God bless and protect you with HIS light.
love,
carlene
I hope the CT scan turns out well. Try not stress yourself out by worrying too much, and please take care.
Dear Gerry I hope the CAT scan does not show anything negative. Bit I can understand your concern.
I am like Doc where tests are concerned, I ' d rather be ignorant of what i am dying of - I 'm 48 you know.
But certainly not the gun thing. LOL I am against taking my life or any one 's else 's for that matter.
I like your smart hat.Vey trendy
I asked my John
what he thought
he thinks women
are more nuturing
we usually don't
base things
on gender alone
he's a very caring man
like your Doc...
You and doc were so salty when talking about this renal mass, I didn't think too much about it until I looked at all the renal mass pop ups that came at the bottom of your screen. All of those videos would give anyone the shakes. Well, I hope it's not serious and it seems at this time that we all ought to loose some weight. I heard on Doctor's that most breast cancer happens in over weight women. When I saw what fat does to the body in that museum display where they freeze and cut the body in slices,it should have scared me thin, but it didn't.
Luck and Love...little sis
Bringing special thoughts... :)
Oh Dear lady-I am sorry you are facing this. But I looked it up and most of these are benign fluid filled masses...so that is what I am hoping and praying is all it is.
You know that Doc really wouldn't end his life that way...he is just being a cut-up...it's his way of being sarcastic and flip about such things.Good to see you two laugh together...puts a smile on my face!!! ;-)
I'm sending prayers your way. Just take it one day at a time.
