Talkilng to you from a park close by

Hi, guys, I took the camera and the tripod down to the park this morning for a new location. I needed to move from the patio of the Westward Ho so as not to disturb residents coming and going and I have already got three interviews with interesting residents lined up for future dates!

I talked to Paul Patrick out front who was shot by the Phoenix Serial Killers. We discussed another argument I had with Gary about the need to move on. I was so delighted when Paul said "I have so moved on!" And I believe it! This guy has moved on. That's what we are going to talk about in an interview. He said he would be happy to come down to the park and go on camera with me! He was on his way today to get set up for another operation on his wrist so he can use it better. This will be the second one. He said it is for carpal tunnel syndrome and to get tendons reattached.

I just talked to a fairly new resident I do not know well but she has been here 3 years and sounds like an interesting interview.

Doc is feeling guilty because the buddy he was drinking with left his apartment under the influence and fell off a bench into some bushes in the swimming pool area and broke his wrist. They tried to set it last night 3 times but couldn't, so must operate on it today. I talked to Rick his son who crashed on his bike and fractured 3 ribs just before that happened. Now he needs to come back and look after his dad a few more days when he picks him up from surgery.

I am looking forward to my son Dan coming either tonight or tomorrow night after work to look at my computer. Raymond just wrote another blog entry in Cowboys and Bohemians about selling his guitar to pay a debt. His friends are staging a rally to try to keep him from having to sell his Martin. I hope he doesn't have to. Times are hard, but sometimes that brings people together like nothing else. In here more people are hurting, but they still have a roof over their heads! The country must come together to help all those who are feeling the squeeze! We can do it!

Hi Gerry , you look good in that new setting. Its good to get out and explore new areas and people. I am sure its refreshing.

I too get blue sometimes living a reclusive sort of life with my Mom and need to get out and meet people and interact with friends.

Sorry about Doc.

The park, with buses and cars zooming by, seems like an active place. Rather scenic. I am looking forward to the interview series.

Hey, Mom, my phone is still broken, but I'll head to St George this next weekend to get it fixed. In the meantime, I just found out today I got an $800 grant to go to Seattle for a 'Presenters and Performers' conference. Could be a turning point on getting my show booked up! The other thing I wanted to share is that you gave me a great name for my next project, you said, from 'Edge to Ledge', I turned that around to make it, 'From Ledge to Edge'. It's a great name. I'm doing great, playing music every night. Its busy, so I am making money. I've added story telling to my music. By the way, I love the new concept of 'hitting the street' with your videos, it actually sent chills down my spine, you could wind up being a 'stringer' for a television station if you keep moving forward with this idea...

Salem's Lot, I thought about camera theft, but it is only a block away, and security is very strong, and most of the time I will take the interviewee with me to the park.
