Ken runs off with Baby Maureen (End of Act I)

In this account of how the down and out manage to survive with no money, Casey's blood count goes too low to plaz. When Ken won't get up to go hunt for cans and newspapers to pay for necessities until their check comes, Casey threatens to leave him. He retaliates by running off with Baby Maureen so she can see how it is to be alone.
